In which I put the new site online, and take the iMac offline

From the recent frequency of entries here one might assume that I’ve gone offline already, but really, I’ve been online, there’s just much going on lately. Consider this an updates post.

As if it replaces actual writing activity, I’ve just released a major upgrade of this site, written for Django. I love this framework, and I do intend to give away much of the code to the site.
I’ve lately been working full-time at Gruden on a project that I’m rather proud of - I’ll have more when it goes live in the next couple of months. Been full-timing since November last year, and have just cut back to 4 days/wk for the return to uni
Have almost finished uni (feels really weird going back there after moving into work, and strange saying I’m a sixth-year!); am working on my final project, an episodic video-for-web thing
And am moving out of home today; found a little studio in Rushcutters Bay, just over the hill from Kings Cross, and within nice walking distance to work…

So with the move happening, I’m about to take my iMac offline. It’ll be 10 days at least before I get connected at home, so access will be almost entirely from work… In the meantime I have some more writing to do, some of which should make its way on here. And now that I have a fresh new site to work with, I will try get some more photos up.
