Stonehenge

Everyone's seen Stonehenge so this is relatively short (compared to the dozens of photos I have of it on my laptop). Went walkabout in the general area as well

    the sun did some weird things to the lens and the colour came out all funky... You can even see some UFOs floating around, very appropriate for my first photo at Stonehenge

    you can see a cpl birds on the stone in the middle... They fly in and out of a couple of nests in there, where no man can go no more

    I took dozens of Stonehenge photos, and everyone knows what it looks like so I had to cull them ;-). But here I got a shot with the sun lined up, so why not...

    went walkabout in the area - there's all these old Barrows around in the middle of farm fields... A shot of Stonehenge from round the barrow... Walking around there I could feel the power that Stonehenge would have held for people long ago -- the photo is deceptive, as it's so small, but you can see it from miles round

    walked as far as Woodhenge, which is actually just coloured chunks of concrete where they reckon the wood would have been... But another shot with the sun lined up nicely...
